a party I wanted to go to
I woke up this morning with a text from an unknown number:
"Hey! What time r coming? Just found out that we're skydiving RIGHT over the ocean! It's all to celebrate my bday & 2.5 years sober! HELL YEA! :D" (1:35 AM)
My response:
"Wrong number. But sounds like fun. Congrats." (5:54 AM)
They wrote back:
"Sorry!" (7:01 AM)
I don't know what ocean they are skydiving over because its a Chicago area code. But I'm glad I got that invite because I really wish I could have gone.

My room is finally close to 90% done! (thank goodness) I can't even begin to re-explain the stress I felt trying to work, clean the old apartment, pack, move, unpack and organize. But, it is done now so, phew!
This past weekend went by so quickly as I made my own little road-trip. Thursday, I packed up and went to Erik's softball game. They won! :) yay! Friday I drove over to my Grandpa's house in Nekoosa, Wisconsin home to many wild turkeys and deer. The last road I took to get to his house was all torn up due to construction and was blocked off to everyone except "local traffic", so naturally I took it and drove about 18 miles on a heavily torn up gravel road. Saturday was Julie's Bachelorette party. and Sunday I got to sit with my mom by the pool :) something I haven't done in a really long time. On my way back to Winona I made a stop in Madison. I got to hang out with Jess and Hillary. :)!! I missed them!
Now, I am finally back in my new room and get to sit still for more than 24 hours... I think I will enjoy that.

May 15 Argus Beer Launch
The Saturday part of Kelly, Jess and my road trip. My mom' company launched Argus Breweries' Red Ale and we all got to be there! Gabe and I won some free Red Ale tee-shirts... yay!
